Transports

  • Applies to local transport, i.e. local public transport and regional rail transport (excluding long-distance transport such as ICE/EC/IC)
  • Dealing with special traffic and alternative forms of service or on-demand traffic is regulated on site
  • does not apply to the Airport Express

 

Passenger Rights

  • Principle: The statutory passenger rights apply

 

 

Rules for the 9-Euro-Ticket (Monthly Ticket)

  • 9 euros (gross) no discount possible

 

2nd Class 

  • With the purchase of the 9-Euro-Ticket, only 2nd class can be used on the services mentioned above.

 

Beneficiaries

  • All customers

 

Temporal Validity

  • Monthly, not sliding (i.e. always from the first to the last day of the month)

 

Take Along Policy

  • Children under the age of 6 can travel free of charge
  • Taking a bicycle or dogs with you is not included

 

Portability

  • Personal, non-transferrable

 

What do you have to do as the owner of a season ticket (e.g.: job ticket, annual ticket, student ticket, 365 euro ticket)?

Nothing!

You can continue to use your ticket – but you also have the advantage of being able to use it on all means of transport throughout Germany (except for long-distance traffic).

You can use it at any time of the day or night and do not need an additional 9-Euro-Ticket.

 

Do you have additional services with your season ticket, e.g. taking your partner with you on a job ticket at the weekend or after 6 p.m.?

Of course, these additional services of your subscription continue to apply within your chosen tariff zone.

 

Since you paid a higher amount in June, July, or August, you will be reimbursed a proportion of the costs.

After the campaign has expired, we will contact you to find out how the refund can be made.

 

Surcharges for Alternative Forms of Operation (e.g. on-call bus)

  • "Comfort surcharges" or comparable surcharges are charged in accordance with the regulations in the respective association/tariff region.

 

Use / Surcharge for Long-Distance Traffic

  • Long-distance usage is excluded. A product transfer to long-distance transport (ICE/EC/IC) is not possible with a 9-Euro-Ticket, even for a surcharge.

 

Sales

  • The 9-Euro-Ticket will be available via the INVG Fahrinfo app and the online shop. Of course, you can also buy the 9-euro ticket at all ticket machines, ticket offices and on the bus. Sales in the VGI area start on Monday, May 23rd, 2022.

 

Exchange and Refund

  •  Exchanges and refunds are excluded.

 

Capacity in Local Public Transport

  • An increase in capacity will only be possible to a very limited extent. It is therefore to be expected that there may also be overstaffing.
